Asus Eee Pc Windows 7 Recovery Disk _BEST_ Download

Asus Eee Pc Windows 7 Recovery Disk _BEST_ Download

I'm trying to re-install to factory settings for the Asus eee pc 1005HAB via USB flash drive since I do not own an external optical drive for the recovery disk the computer came with. The F9 Recovery will not work. I have successfully created an iso disk image using the "ISODisk" program and loaded it onto my 8GB flashdrive using "ISO to USB". I can then boot this flashdrive. The Asus recovery CD/DVD program loads up and i can choose a partition or whole HD to recover to.

It seems the issue is not related to Windows 7 operating system. The recovery disk is created by ASUS, I suggest you contact ASUS support and follow official method to create Eee PC 1005HAB Windows 7 recovery via USB.

As far as I know Windows 7 Starter is an OEM product only and the only source is from the vendor - ASUS. Microsoft does not have a link to download the image. If your Eee PC came with any verison of Windows installed the vendor (ASUS) is required by their contract with Microsoft to provide you with some means of recovery to the original state - That may be either a recovery partition on the hard drive or a recovery dvd.

I everyone . I have the same problem with an Asus eeePC 1001PX , but with hard disk drive failure . If the recovery is in a hidden partition but the hard drive fails , how can i reinstall my windows 7 starter after changing the hard disk drive the windows backup doesn't work , Asus don't sell the recovery DVD . What can I do

I tried to restore my PC with this method, but apparently the recovery partition missed files. What other alternatives I had If Microsoft doesn't have the files ready to download, my support agent is nowhere to be found and my recovery partition is oh-so-dead...

I have a HP Mini Portable and it came with Windows 7 Starter. I have my product key ans its Genuine Certified Version. I want to format and make a clear installation of my OS but when I purchased the HP Mini no DVD came with it. I've read all the posts here and all the different ways to reinstall the OS. Some talk about using the recovery partition and others say to first download an ultimate version of Windows 7 (does this include the Starter version ) ans to copy the drivers to bien ans install.

If you aren't on Windows 8 or above, try downloading JV16 power tools and running their "Decrapifier" which deletes non-factory default apps and programs. After that, you can just delete your pictures/music/videos and run CCleaner's wipe free disk space option if you are worried about someone recovering your files.

I tried getting to the recovery page (mashing F9 at startup) to perform ASUS EEE PC restore factory settings in Windows, but it didn't have an option for ASUS recovery. It only went to a windows fix and repair section. When I tried to do windows recovery, there were no images found.

The glory days of netbooks have passed. But if you own an Asus EeePC with Atom CPU sooner or later you have to reinstall Windows 7 Starter. The problem is that Asus ships EeePC with recovery DVD but the netbook do not have an optical drive. Creation of bootable USB flash drive from ISO of the recovery disk is difficult and the installation fails because of the following error message: "Please insert the recovery CD/DVD and then click OK".

I have a Asus Eee pc 1011px netbook which it had an original windows 7 starter installed on it ! It had 16 GB partition for windows recovery ! it was working well, until I wnated to install ubuntu next to windows ! so I tried to separate 10 GB to install Ubuntu I did it by Windows "Disk management" and after that i tried to "create a new partition" but the created partition was the recovery partition !

when I boot system with a live ubuntu I see that the windows partion have not changed at all ! anyway I tried to install new windows 7 ! so I created an .ISO file from an windos disk (that im sure that works good ) and by RUFUS software i created an bootable usb and I boot system and tried to instal windows but when I want to select partition to install windows , it says :

Finally I could fix it :) ! I'll say my manner for other people who have this problem ! after a lot of efforts finally I booted my netbook by a Ubuntu 11.10 live USB and I installed ubuntu in withot seetiing partitions manualy , and ubuntu erased my hard disk compeeltly and after that i booted my netbook by windows 7 usb and after that windows setup was able to identify my hard and installed windows 7 successfully ! realy tnx for dear @Optichip :)
